Marilyn Krieger

Marilyn Krieger is the Director of Parks and Recreation for the Zion Park District.
She has been with the District since May of 1988. Initially as the Director of Special Recreation,
then Superintendent of Recreation and for the past 8 years as Executive Director.

She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation from Southern Illinois University.
She is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional through the National Parks and Recreation Association.
Marilyn joined the Coalition on the Wellness Task Force and went on to
Chair that committee for several years before joining the Board of Directors as Vice President.
She served several terms at President and is currently the Past President.
