Since 2001, Cheri Neal has served as the Supervisor of Zion Township, a Government Agency
that provides Zion residents with the resources they need in order to overcome crisis.
The township exists to lead, empower, advocate and connect Zion residents to resources, services and solutions.
Cheri is responsible for creating networks and relationships to support her team in accessing resources for residents,
developing future community leaders for the sustainability of the Zion community, collaboratively addressing
systematic issues that affect Zion residents, and ensuring compliance with laws and mandates.
Cheri’s strong passion and unwavering faith to help develop others goes far beyond her workday. She mentors, supports and encourages
everywhere she goes. She is a certified Life Coach and holds a double Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Behavior
in Society and Masters in Management and Certificate in Leadership.
She is also past president of the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Speakers Association
and past president of the Coalition for Healthy Communities.
She is most proud of raising two amazing kids in Zion, IL, her Zion Township Team and being involved in the
creation of the Coalition’s Zion-Benton Leadership Academy, the launching of Zinnias for Zion and Monarch City USA.
