Jennifer D. Smith
Jennifer D. Smith is an educator and student affairs professional who has worked in Higher Education for over 20 years.
She holds a Master of Arts in Human Performance Improvement from Roosevelt University, a Master of Science in College Student Personnel
from Western Illinois University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from North Central College.
She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership at Governors State University.
Although a native Chicagoan, Jennifer is passionate about being involved in her adopted community of Zion, Illinois.
She is a graduate of the Coalition’s Zion Benton Leadership Academy (ZBLA) and currently serves as the organization’s Secretary.
She is also a member of the Zion Police Department’s Community Advisory Committee
and has previously served as a Trustee for the Zion-Benton Public Library District.
